Paraslim is a modular cantilever formwork system designed to facilitate the construction of edge projections, parapets and string courses of composite steel girder and precast concrete bridge decks. It may also be used to construct the capping beams to sheet piles. The system is based on a triangular frame consisting of a Superslim top chord with a tube and turnbuckle undercarriage. Brackets are laced together with tube fittings to produce a formwork module erected and dismantled by crane.
